About Our Sessions

Bring your child along for a 90-minute session that combines fun, fitness and learning across PE, Science and PSHE with the opportunity to make friends within the homeschooling community.

Our functional fitness session always include the same elements to give a sense of familiarity and routine:

Soft Start - a range of activities set out for free exploration to help get settled into the session
Group Game - coming together with the others in the group to get the session into full motion
Warm Up - getting the body warm and ready to move
Skills Development - focus on the skill of the week
Learning Segment - learning something new about the body or an aspect of healthy living
Workout - putting new skills into practice in a fun combination of movements
Games - our favourite way to cool down and close the session

Sessions always include review of the RPE chart (Rate of Perceived Exertion), a scale to help participants monitor and communicate how they are feeling, as well as a learning focus, such as heart rate before and after exercise.
