Personal Training
These sessions are suitable for children and young people who are home educated.
1:1 and small group training sessions provide tailored support for specific fitness goals as well as helping individuals to enhance their strength, confidence and lifelong fitness. All sessions are carefully planned to meet the needs of the individual(s) whilst also providing the right amount of physical challenge. We use a range of support strategies to ensure sessions are fully accessible.
Sessions can take place in person (outdoors or at the client’s home) or online depending on needs. Session lengths vary between 30-45 minutes for online sessions and 45-60 minutes for in-person sessions.

Session Structure
For our clients who benefit from a sense of control over their session, we provide choices of different exercises which all meet the training objectives. Choices are presented visually to support processing and empower the client to take ownership over their exercise programme.
Sessions can also be adapted to reflect a client’s special interests, visual resources are used throughout to support instructions and demonstrations.
Whilst some clients prefer a standard format of working on upper body, lower body and core exercises, we also take a different approach to setting fitness targets with other clients. Mid to long term goals may include developing balance, coordination, gross or fine motor skills, working memory and problem solving skills, all of which can be incorporated into the client’s bespoke exercise programme.

We provide a range of options to enable children and young people with additional needs to participate in physical activity in their own space where they feel most comfortable.
Our exercise programmes offer a unique way to combine fun and functional fitness, we can also combine it with executive functioning and essential skills development.
Your child's coach will create an individualised programme for them based on their strengths and areas for development. The programme will include a range of functional fitness exercises focusing on areas such as balance, coordination, gross or fine motor skills, working memory, self-confidence and problem solving.
